Organic Agriculture or bio agriculture is the production of food and animal products and vegetables which does not make the usage of any kind of synthetic chemistry or genetic modification techniques in their cultivation, it’s normally part of the sustainability principles. Its based on holistic concept with emphasis in soil.
The tenderers in that practice believe that a healthy soil free of fertilizers and pesticides produces food with higher quality than the conventional ones.
In the Organic Agriculture the bases of the production is turned to the usage of animal manure, crop rotation system, green manure, compost and biological control of plagues and plants diseases.
In the United States, Japan, Switzerland, Australia and the United Kingdom, the organic agriculture is defined through a law which is a regulated by the government through specific organs.

According to a survey conducted during two years in Chicago, USA, and published on the periodical Journal of Applied Nutrition (1993), it was proven that the organic food has got superior quantities of essential minerals if compared to the food produced in the conventional form. During that research, there were analyzed samples of apples, potatoes, pear, wheat and sweet corn.
